The touch technology of projected capacitive panel is to etch different ITO conductive circuit modules on two layers of ITO conductive glass coating. The etched patterns on the two modules are perpendicular to each other and can be seen as continuous sliding bars in the X and Y directions. Due to the X and Y architectures being on different surfaces, a capacitive node is formed at their intersection. One slider can be used as a driving line, and the other slider can be used as a detection line. When current passes through one of the driving wires, if there is a signal of capacitance change from the outside, it will cause a change in the capacitance node on the other layer of wire. The change in capacitance value can be measured through an electronic circuit connected to it, and then converted into a digital signal by an A/D controller for the computer to perform arithmetic processing to obtain the (X, Y) axis position, thereby achieving the positioning goal.
During operation, the controller sequentially supplies power to the drive lines, thus creating a specific electric field between each node and the wire. Then scan the sensing lines column by column to measure the capacitance changes between their electrodes, thus achieving multi-point positioning. When the finger or touch medium approaches, the controller quickly detects the change in capacitance between the touch node and the wire, thereby confirming the position of the touch. This type of axis is driven by a set of AC signals, while the response passing through the touch screen is sensed through electrodes on other axes. Users refer to this as' transverse 'sensing, also known as projection sensing. The sensor is coated with ITO patterns on the X and Y axes. When a finger touches the surface of the touch screen, the capacitance value below the touch point increases according to the distance of the touch point. The continuous scanning on the sensor detects the change in capacitance value, and the control chip calculates the touch point and reports it to the processor.
