The Basic Principle of TFT LCD Panel

The TFT LCD panel, which stands for Thin Film Transistor Liquid Crystal Display panel, mainly relies on the electro-optical effect of liquid crystals. Under the influence of different electric fields, the arrangement of liquid crystal molecules changes, thus controlling the passage and blockage of light. The backlight emits light, which then passes through polarizing plates, the liquid crystal layer and other structures. The TFT transistors are responsible for precisely controlling the electric field of each pixel, enabling accurate adjustment of the brightness and color of pixels. When numerous pixels combine together, clear and vivid images are presented. It is widely used in many electronic devices like automotive, industrial control, medical, marine etc applications.
