Cleaning Methods For LCD Screens

Jun 13, 2024

When cleaning the LCD screen, do not use any alkaline or chemical solution to wipe the surface of the screen at will. There are generally two types of stains on LCD panels: one is due to accumulated dust in the air, and the other is fingerprints and oil stains left by users unintentionally. Many people have misconceptions when cleaning LCD screens. Home appliance experts remind us that if we don't pay attention, these details can damage the LCD to some extent.
1. Use a regular soft cloth or tissue to wipe the LCD screen. Never use ordinary soft cloths (such as eyeglass cloths) or tissues to wipe the LCD screen. For soft LCD screens, their surfaces are still too rough and can easily scratch delicate LCD screens.
2. Clean the LCD screen with clean water. When cleaning with clean water, liquid is prone to drip into the interior of the LCD screen, which can cause a short circuit in the device circuit and burn out expensive electronic devices.
3. Clean the LCD screen with alcohol and other chemical solvents. LCD screens are coated with special coatings on the screen. Once alcohol is used to wipe the monitor screen, this special coating will dissolve, causing adverse effects on the panel effect.
